What is SBE?

SBE is a tool box of online solutions to help you manage your business affairs. The SBE tool box contains bookkeeping solutions, occupational health and safety management tools, customer relationship management tools, human resources tools and training and development tools.

SBE is a designed by small business for small business to liberate you from the burden of day-to-day administration and free you to get on with what really matters, making money.


Why do you provide a free product?

The power of this system needs to be seen and experienced to be believed. We also believe that a business needs more help and no unnecessary burden in its early stage. With that in mind we offering a FREE version of our bookkeeping solution, SBEbooks0, because we know that only you can be the best judge of whether it’s right for you.

Will SBE work on my computer?

SBE will work on any computer that has a web browser whether you use an Apple Mac or Windows PC. To enhance your experience and take advantage of the special features we have incorporated into the application, we recommend that you run Internet Explorer 8 or greater, or Mozilla’s Firefox 3.6 or greater, or Chrome 10.0 or greater.

Signup and Login


Why do you need my email address?

Your email address is unique to you and forms a part of the security aspect of your login.

Also, SBEbooks has a built in feature that reminds you know when invoices and payments become overdue. This is particularly useful for those on the move.


What is a promotional code?

Occasionally we run promotions in the media and on other websites and we provide a promotional code. These codes can then be entered during the registration process to take advantage of any special offers we may currently be offering.

Promotional codes can also be entered at the stage when you convert your free product to a paid for account.


Do I need to pay or give you my credit card details now?

Absolutely not! The free version is exactly that – FREE. You can use it indefinitely and when your business grows you can decide to pay the small subscription fee and upgrade to a more suitable version. Only then will you be required to provide your credit card details.


Do I have to sign a contract?

No. Every plan is month to month.


Can I change from one plan to another without losing my data?

Yes. You can change your plan as often as you like. With SBE changing your mind is free.


Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. You can cancel anytime from within your SBE account.



Security & Privacy


Can other people access my accounts?

Your account is protected by your username, email address and password.  Additionally we use the same levels of encryption used by internet banking to ensure that the data being sent between your computer and the system cannot be read by anyone except you.

No one can access your accounts unless you provide them with your login details.


Is my data sent securely across the internet?

We have Comodo issued security certificates to our Rackcorp Servers so all data transferred between you and our servers is encrypted. However, the internet is not in itself a secure environment. You should only enter, or instruct the information of data to the database within a secure environment. This means that your browser must support the encryption security used in connection with the Rackcorp Servers.


Where is all my data physically stored?

The data you enter is stored on a highly secure corporate grade server at Rackcorp in Sydney.

Suitability


I have no experience with bookkeeping or accounting - is SBEbooks suitable for me?

Most definitely, yes. Part of the decision to offer a free product is to allow you to judge SBEbooks for yourself.

SBEbooks does not expect you to have any background in bookkeeping or accountancy and is written in plain English – with no jargon and no fancy terms.

All SBE products/tools are super easy-to-use and require no training or reading of lengthy manuals, saving you time, money and stress.
